How to protect yourself from a virus that may be floating indoors? Better ventilation, for starters.

Scientists know now that people can spread the virus even in the absence of symptoms. When people with the COVID-19 infection breathe out, speak, sing, clear their throats, cough or sneeze they are spreading droplets in the air. The coronavirus can stay aloft for hours in tiny droplets in stagnant air, infecting people as they inhale, mounting scientific evidence suggests. Experts agree the virus can traverse the length of a room and, remain viable for up to three hours. This risk is highest in indoor spaces with poor ventilation. We should be placing as much emphasis on ventilation as we do with masks and hand washing.

Many schools are poorly ventilated and there is a huge vulnerability to the spread of harmful particles throughout each classroom. However, there are straight forward steps that can be taken to reduce potential airborne transmission of Covid-19 and other harmful particles these precautions include increasing ventilation with a proper air purifier system.

WE BRING A HIGHER STANDARD IN AIR PURIFICATION

All of our air purifiers come with HEPA H13 filters. HEPA stands for High – Efficiency Particulate Air. The HEPA H13 is the highest tier of HEPA and are considered medical – grade air filter capable of removing 99.9 percent of particles in the air. Medical – grade filters are commonly used in electronic control rooms and pharmaceutical plants. The reason why is because they have a higher particulate retention rate. What this means is that an H13 HEPA filter can remove tiny particles in the air more efficiently. This is unlike the lower – grade HEPA filters (H10 to H12) which traps 99.7 percent of contaminants of 0.3 microns of size in the air.

Covid is 0.125 micron and the H13 Filter Absolutely Captures It

Lower grade HEPA filters will not capture COVID!

Unlike True HEPA, “HEPA Type” and “HEPA Like” filters that other air purifiers use fail the standard.
